  234. This font is shareware. You had all the time you wanted to experiment with it
  235. in any way you wanted to, and for as long as you wanted to, before deciding to
  236. register. It means you found it satisfactory enough to pay the small usage
  237. fee.
  238.  
  239. Therefore, Match Software cannot accept any claim for monney back, for any
  240. reason, after you have decided do register.
  241.  
  242. If for any reason the registered version of the font was provided to you on a
  243. defective media (disk), it would be exchanged for a new one at no cost.
  244.  
  245. If you have suggestions for improving this font, we appreciate your comments.
  246. It does not mean we will fix or modify the font in the way you wish in a given
  247. time, or that we must do it in any way. However, if we feel the suggestion is
  248. appropriate, next version of the font may be inspired from these advices.

  250. We decline any responsability if for any reason this font is put to bad use in
  251. any way. It worked fine on a regular configuration, and on a regular printer,
  252. with the most usual software packages. If, for any reason, it could not work
  253. on your specific configuration, Match Software cannot be held responsible. As
  254. technical combinations are almost infinite, and because systems evoluate in
  255. ways we cannot predict, it might happen a new system, or a particular
  256. configuration,  does not work with a font. For instance, because a new version 
  257. of the system requires a new font format. In general, we will try to keep up 
  258. with the system versions, and eventually offer upgrades, if possible, but it 
  259. does not constitute any obligation.

  261. Hardware characteristics may also pose problems. For instance, it appears that 
  262. some ink- jet printers or dot-matrix printers, used with Windows, cannot print 
  263. accuratly some complex fonts. It could happen with "dingbats" fonts, made out 
  264. of small pictures, like Nahkt Hieroglyphics, or Dinosotype, for instance. For 
  265. some reason, sometimes some sizes show on the screen as little square boxes, 
  266. and print fine. Or the opposite ; it shows fine on the screen and never 
  267. prints. Or worse, it does not print either on the screen, nor on the printer. 
  268. We found no explaination to this phenomenon. It looks very much like a solid 
  269. glitch either in Windows itself, either in the printer's drivers. Until His 
  270. Majesty Microsoft fixes the problem, we are sorry to admit we cannot find any 
  271. way to circumvent it.

  273. Some printers have also some very strange limitations concerning TrueType
  274. fonts. We had some nightmares with HP-Compatible printers which are not, in
  275. their native mode, capable of accomodating more than, say, 5 TT fonts. If
  276. configured as HP clones, however, they would print fine hundreds of beautifull 
  277. TrueType fonts. Think about this kind of glitches, before accusing our fonts 
  278. of not functionning properly.
  279.  
  280. Another bad use of a font may be generation of counterfit documents, or any 
  281. kind of falsified printing. We decline any responsability in such and event.
  282. Please do not use our fonts for any illegal purpose.
  283.  
  284. USAGE LICENCING REGISTRATION
  285. ----------------------------
  286.  
  287. If you got this font from a commercial shareware distributor, like on-disk
  288. vendors, CD compilations or on-line service, the price you eventualy payed
  289. does not include usage licensing. Commercial distributors charge you for their
  290. time spent in selecting, promoting and shipping the shareware, or any other
  291. weird reason they might think of, but in no case for usage fees. In other
  292. words, should you decide to use this font on regular or publishing purposes,
  293. you still must acquire usage licensing by registering, before doing so.
  294.  
  295. This applies especialy to desktop publishing or any kind of publishing. If you 
  296. should use this font in any publishing activity, you must register, and also 
  297. mention in the copyright notices name and origin of the Match Software fonts
  298. you used. For instance "Bujardet Freres fonts from Match Software".

  300. Thank-you for complying with these simple rules. If you publish books or any
  301. other intellectual creation, would they be records, software, videos or any 
  302. other creation, you probably want to get recognized for it. Please do not 
  303. deprive us from our small share of it, miniscule registration fee included.
